A little over a year ago, I was lucky enough to have spent one full, memorable month in the beautiful American west coast, more specifically, California. I ended up staying on the outskirts of the bustling city of Los Angles, and found heaven in the little peninsula of Palos Verdes. Little did I know that I was about to stay in one of the most popular filming sets for some of TV's and cinema's big time hits. Palos Verdes, only just over 30 miles south of LA, boasts of a beautiful coast line, with dreamy coves along the way. It was once the site of the famous Marineland, and the home to many famous artists, including Theodor Seuss Geisel a.k.a. Dr. Seuss.

Originally built and developed by Frank Vanderlip in 1913, Palos Verdes has become a huge attraction for film makers wanting to make the most of its incredible views, which often double up as foreign locations, and iconic coastline. I have compiled a small list of films and TV shows that have been shot (some, almost entirely, others, just a few scenes) in this stretch of land.
